CM instructs to take heavy rainfall forecast in Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Bangalore

Karnataka : In the backdrop of rising rainfall in the Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Bangalore districts, Chief Minister Udupi has called the Chikkamagaluru district authorities and directed them to take all necessary measures, including sending the victims to safer places.

BBMP Administrator Gaura Gupta has called for special attention in the wake of the rains in Bengaluru and has ordered special attention to the Raja Canal and lowlands, and ordered all officials to ensure that they are available at any moment.

NDRF team dispatched to rescue flood victims: Bommai

Home minister and district care minister Basavaraja Bommai told reporters that the military helicopter is scheduled to be used for rescue operations due to heavy rainfall across the district.

The NDRF personnel are engaged in a rescue operation after information was received about the flooding of a small hydroelectric plant near Baja Reservoir. “I have instructed the district authorities to take immediate action to protect the lives of the people,the SDRF team had been hit by the floods, which have claimed 250 lives.
