Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa tests positive for COVID-19

Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has said on Sunday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He said that he was being hospitalized according to the suggestion of specialists.
In a tweet late on Sunday, Mr. Yediyurappa said,” I have tried positive for coronavirus. While I am fine, I am being hospitalized as an insurance on the proposal of specialists. I demand the individuals who have interacted with me as of late to be attentive and practice self isolate.”
H. Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman of Manipal Hospital, in an announcement stated, “Hon. CM of Karnataka Shri BS Yediyurappa has been admitted to Manipal clinic for perception.
“He is progressing admirably, is clinically steady and will be observed intently by our group.”
