Karnataka Zoo App Launches Online

Mysore : The Karnataka Zoo Authority on Wednesday launched a mobile app called ‘Zoo of Karnataka’ for people to make their contribution to education, protection, relief and rehabilitation of wild animals.

Anand Singh, Minister of Forests and Environment in Bellary, released the APP on Wednesday, with Chamaraja Wodeyar of the Mysore royal family, Yadavir Krishna, present at the zoo.

Mysore Zoo Executive Director Ajit M Kulkarni, Additional Chief Forest Conservator and Authority Member BP Ravi and other zoos executive directors of the zoo were also present.

Created by the Karnataka Zoo Authority, this mobile app will provide information about 9 zoos in the state, adoption and donation of animals and birds.
