‘Law’ Kannada movie released on Amazon prime
Ragini Prajwal is set to make her debut as a heroine actress through Raghu Samarth’s “Law”. According to my mother, I started dancing when I was in her womb, because she was constantly receiving that kick from me for Madhuri Dixit’s song Ek Do Teen, so she knew I was going to be a dancer.
“I started classical dance with Bharatanatyam at the age of 4. Then I went to Shyamak Dawar School for eight years. In the 1990s I got in touch with Imran Zardaria for the Boogie Woogie event. I was in modeling for eight years, ”says Ragini
The “La” movie is being released on Amazon Prime Video and everything is fine in this La Drama Making, the actress told the magazine. Produced by Puneet Rajkumar’s PRK Productions, the film brings together producer Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar and Govind, director Raghu Samarth and plenty of senior actors. For Ragini, her husband – actor Prajwal Devaraj – and father-in-law, veteran actor Devaraj and the whole family stand in support.
Ragini was formerly part of the short film Varshabhrapriya. But she is making her first appearance as a full-fledged heroine through the film “Law.” “When Raghu came up with the script, it was very appealing to Prajwal and me. Directors usually come home with scripts for home theater, and only this time brought the story to me. It was a surprise to me. Because after getting married, no one plans to start their acting career. But I’m ready for it. I’ve got support.
“Being a lawyer in the first film posed a challenge for me. I am a classical dancer and generally agree to more emotional roles. But this role is the opposite of me – emotionally sensitive acting. He took the time to come to Mysore and attended the sets to help me with the conversation, ”he recalls.
Ragini is in no pain to see her first film as a heroine in the OTT. “Of course, I wanted to see myself on the big screen as I wished. But at the same time, I also realized that “La” is a film that can respond well to streaming platforms. I can see the release of this film in over 200 countries, and a startup like this is really good, ”he says.
