Fight Coronavirus: Immunity boosters deliver to doorstep!

Bengaluru: A decoction of a blend of spices, herbs and roots to reach the doorstep to boost the immunity needed to fight coronvirus.

For many Indians, this is a magic potion. This is why people are getting more and more traditional medicine.

The increase in coronavirus  numbers of cases in Bangalore has led to an increase in the number of brewers, who are also drinking it at police stations. The Karnataka State Mango Development and Marketing Corporation has partnered with India Post to deliver a package of ingredients for making spicy drinks.

The 7 ingredients required for making the decoction, 250 g pepper, dried ginger, cumin, cloves, garlic, and turmeric along with one and a half kg of jaggery powder, will have a weight of 3 kg and will cost around Rs 600. KSMDMC Managing Director CG Nagaraj said, “All these will be supplied by the farmers of the Malnadu region.

Earlier mangoes were sent to the parcel via the same post. About 100 tonnes of mangoes were delivered to the doorstep. “The mango fruit season is over and demand for decoction powder has increased,” Bangalore Post Office Postmaster S Rajendra Kumar said.
