Congress holds cycle rally against fuel hike in Bengaluru

Hundreds of Karnataka Congress leaders and cadres on Monday staged a cycle rally in Bengalore against steep hike in petrol and diesel prices by the Central government.Defying social distancing and mask wearing, several Karnataka Congress workers on Monday arranged a cycle rally in the city against steep climb in petroleum and diesel costs by the Central government.

DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, Zameer Ahmed ,senior leader Ramalinga Reddy and Dinesh Gunde Rao taken part in the cycle rally .

“Fuel costs have been expanded practically day by day since June 7 bringing about Rs 9.17 combined hike in petroleum rate and Rs 11.14 in diesel rate.

The Congress party protested against incessant fuel price hike across the country and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government to rollback the prices.
