The Sabarimala Temple to be closed for this month

Kerala: All the temples across the country have already been opened to devotees. However, for devotees at Kerala’s famous Sabarimala temple have been denied entry.

Kerala Minister for Co-operation, Tourism and Devaswoms Kadakampally Surendran has held a meeting with Thiruvanchoor Devaswom Board President N Vasu and disclosed this information. It has been made clear that the temple fair has been canceled due to be held on June 19.

Covid19 is one of the loudest in the state and the decision was taken on the back of this. The central government has already imposed certain conditions and sanctioned the opening of the temple. “There is no need to open the shrine immediately as devotees of different states are more likely to visit the temple,” .
