Grand Welcome for 126 accused in Padarayanapura who were out on bail

BANGALORE: Many people were arrested for allegedly assaulting and defrauding Corona Warrior at Corona lockdown.

 The court has granted bail to them, who were accused of assaulting policemen and Doctors on duty and demolishing the sheds of police stations . Chamarajpet MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan bail them out to Padarayanapur on their own buses.

As the accused were coming, Zameer Ahmed Shake hands and greeted them. He made it clear that he stood by his support. The accused all of them got off from the bus and went back to their homes.

The High Court granted conditional bail to all the accused .The National Travels Bus, owned by Zameer Ahmed, has been brought to the Haj Bhavan of Old Village in Mysore Road. The families of the accused had gathered in large numbers to welcome them as they boarded the bus. In the wake of the Corona panic, the police had to rally to disperse the people who were not there. JJ Nagar ward corporator husband Altaf was also present.

The High Court on May 29 granted conditional bail to all the 126 accused in the case. The accused were paid Rs 1 lakh. The bench, headed by Judge John Michael , ordered that a Bond to be provided with a surety.

According to the court order, the Covid-19 sample test was checked by the police at Haj Bhavan and later all the 126 accused were released .
