Karnataka Govt. Bans spitting of Tobacco

“According to the forces gave by the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Ordinance 2020 Section 4(2) the state has restricted the utilization of biting tobacco items and utilization of paan masala items and spitting them in broad daylight places, in order to forestall the spread of Corona Virus,” said by an official.

Violators will be booked under IPC (Indian Penal Code) sections 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 268 ( Public nuisance.), 269(Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 270 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and others.
