Big Swarms Of Crop-Eating grasshoppers Enter Maharashtra

It has been reported in the media that Maharashtra is in fear of entering Karnataka as rusty grasshoppers affecting North India. These grasshoppers, which feed on the crop in the second half, will cause food shortages in the future. Thus the State Government should take precautionary measures.
There are reports that a herd of grasshoppers is currently in Amaravati, Maharashtra. Amaravathi is a district geographically close to our Bidar, Kalaburgi. These locusts found in the desert of East Africa and Iran have entered India through Pakistan. It is not impossible to cross the districts.
There are 4 crore grasshoppers in an area of 1 sq km. These grasshoppers eat food just as much as their body size, so they can calculate the amount of crop damage. Thus, drug spraying is taking place in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
As the state fears these, the government should immediately get the opinion of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh and be prepared for strategies. Potential risk should be reversed early.
After the COVID pandemic, farmers have been hit by an unexpected and deadly grasshoppers attack, these insects have swarmed parts of North India.
