Education Minister Suresh Kumar canceled 7th, 8th and 9th standard exams in the state

BANGALORE: Seven, eight and ninth standard exams of the state have been canceled. The Department of Education has decided to pass all students of these three classes. Education Minister Suresh Kumar today answered a question on Facebook about the confusion regarding the exam. Fear of spreading coronavirus has been canceled in the Exam. Talking with officials of the Department of Education today, it has been decided that students of 7th and 8th grades should pass the next class without examination.

For the 9th standard students have already done formal and symmetric tests at the classroom level. On the basis of this, they will be passed the 10th standard. If no student passes the exam, schools should try to improve the student’s learning level during the holiday season.

The exam will be re-examined at the beginning of the next academic year and the appropriate decision should be taken regarding the student’s passing. There will be SSLC and Secondary PU tests. The date will be announced after April 14.
